Gaussian Blur
This tutorial will teach you how to add a simple gaussian blur to an image.
I will be starting with this picture:
First, duplicate the background layer. Then go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur:
Then adjust the settings to your liking. This is how I set mine up:
Then, adjust the opacity to 50% or so. This is how it looks now:
If you want to, you can change the blend mode to hard light. This is how it would turn out"
